Two Hour Wargames, the perfect solution to social distancing needs. Which I've been practicing for years! Ha! I think its safe to say that there are quite a few of us here like you, for various reasons . Being a self employed gardener, Even with my wife, can be a very removed lifestyle. Weekend visits to town are quite something. Look, people! Seeing people less is not a big difference to me...

I have been looking for toilet paper here in So Cal for days, not to horde, just regular shopping. It was really stressing me out. Finally found it in a restaurant supply store. Had to buy a case of 96 rolls. I am set for life I guess. Unless anyone knows of terrain I can build from toilet paper?

I work in retail and it looks like we are getting more stock in, but slowly. If people stayed away from each other and didn’t panic, we’d be fine.
Also my wife has surgery next week for her broken foot. And whole that sucks, at least this is the perfect time to not go anywhere.

I think I have made some terrain out of TP before. I think it was some mountains!
Good luck to your wife, Shon!

I think its time for some good news here. My neighbour has set up a whatsapp group for our street in the hope that we can all come together and help each other in any way we can whilst the virus is a problem. What a hero! I was starting to lose my faith in humanity.
Now I have to join whatsapp! I really don’t do “social” media but this is for the good of my community so I’m in.

Honestly, times like these bring out the worst and the best, but it's easy to focus on the former. Interesting idea about the restaurant supply store - might have to tuck that away, though we're okay for now. I've just heard from a friend in Singapore - which I'd guess is a month or so ahead of the US and UK in this madness - and he says things are calming down a good deal, and that "panic buying" has pretty well stopped. Very different place and situation to the West, of course, but hopefully things will get better for us as well.

I worked in the Meat Department of a Grocery store last week to help out so the Dept Head could get a vacation. Saw so many nice people doing nice things. Many times someone would order the last thing in the case and when someone next to them asked me if there was more in the back, I'd say no, and the first person would share it with the second.. Media loves the bad stuff and not the good. And at the store today it was almost business as usual, except no toilet paper. Go figure. I think these guys are to blame.

That’s great to hear, I mean read. Most people I saw were pleasant and friendly. We need to all stay positive in this. While there are some idiots out there, just try and ignore them and move on. Granted this isn’t as easy if you’re dealing with person after person but it’s better than glaring at everyone who crosses your path.
I managed to get a few Nuts and Fortunes games in, but unfortunately I haven’t had time to type up AARs. Maybe once things slow down a bit.

Surely the end is nigh! Did my weekly grocery shopping & noticed that this time every single can of SPAM has been sold! The store was just as bare as it was last week, though the number of creepy people running around with masks & gloves have increased. I'm beginning to think the first zombie I encounter will be wearing gloves & a surgical mask.

I know right? Even though medical professionals say you should not overuse wearing masks since they also end up picking up other things on the outside, like other viruses, mold spores and so on. And when you use your bare hands to adjust your mask or scratch your face (or someplace) you just transmit stuff to you that you otherwise wouldn't be at risk for. So if you are sick, wear a mask. If you deal daily with sick people, wear a mask -- otherwise, just use common sense.

"common sense"...LOL, yeah right.
After the Horsemen released last month...hmmm, coincidence?
