Here in France we are confined since monday. Same thing about toilet paper, pasta, rice and water. And no masks and no gloves available anywhere.

They said a mask & gloves were enough for the grocery store ... They lied! Everybody else was wearing clothes. I read that you're supposed to wash all your clothes if you go into public places. This would effectively save a step as you can just hop in the shower and wash off instead of the trouble of doing laundry!

Did my weekly grocery shopping today. The grocery store is still out of a it of things, but some things are getting a little better. There was water & limited amounts of toilet paper & paper towels. They were out of bread, so I'll be baking my own.
Somebody has a sense of humor, though. In the bread aisle where you would normally see rows of bread, someone put out rows & rows of Twinkies - made me think of Zombieland!

Have had to take someone to medical appointments. Were told "you don't need a mask, it doesn't really give any protection, just maintain distances, etc." Yet, I notice that the people at the medical clinics are wearing masks.

People in clinics wear masks because they cannot maintain distances, etc.

And they are caring for vulnerable people. They have to go above and beyond.
I am self employed and measures have been set up to help those who are self employed in the UK. Thank goodness! My heart goes out to anyone with money worries. I’m guessing thats most of us right?! :-)

I responded to a barn fire on Sunday with my volunteer fire department and after the call they wouldn't let us back in the fire house.

My business has really slowed down so I'm just playing games all day long and checking this forum every hour. Keep the posts coming. I'm enjoying my free time.

We're really in trouble in our pokey little seaside resort. Not only do we have to face the plague on venturing out, but now have to run the risk of attack seagulls trying to devour us!!!!
