I would really like to see a historical ancients/medieval version of To be King. Not a supplement but standalone rules. There is hopefully still a good market for ancients wargames rules. Oh, and including army lists of course!

You have 145 list in RRTK 3000BC to 1500 AD, the first rule for to be king. It’s easy to adapt but i can’t upload it here because i see now it’s not a free supplement.

If you are doing medieval period, Montjoie! has 26 medieval army lists. Captains & Kings has some Dark Age & medieval lists. They are a slightly smaller in scale & scope than To Be King or Rally Round the King.
If you are familiar with other ancient rule sets, To Be King is like DBM and Montjoie! & Captains & Kings is like Warhammer Ancient Battles.

Of course, you can play Ancients & Medieval period games with Warrior Heroes To Be King - each of the fantasy armies has a historical counterpart listed. Just play the game without the magic.

I would really like to see a historical ancients/medieval version of To be King. Not a supplement but standalone rules. There is hopefully still a good market for ancients wargames rules. Oh, and including army lists of course! To Be King has 40 lists. 32 of them have the historical equivalent listed as that's what the Lists were made from. So Ekra is 100 Years War Feudal French. Don't use the magic rules and it's a historical set. All the fantasy rules came from the historical rules. Hope this helps.
