In your update of the Warbands rules, will there be rules for flyers? For example, my old Dark Elf army has a unit of harpies, What I've done for the current rules is to allow them to roll 3d6 & choose the best two when fast moving. If these flyers are led by a human, then they don't get the fast movement bonus. Also, these small flyers can never be elite. Anyway, these are my thoughts on units of smaller dyers like harpies, gargoyles, succubi, etc.
I only ask because I have lots of figures of harpies and succubi. :-)

How many miniatures per side you need for warbands?

Each unit contains 6 to 12 figures & the number of units depends on your character's social standing. You could start with only 6 figures for your side & over the course of the campaign, you could grow your army to 9 units or a max of 108 figures per side. But it will take a while to reach that number.
This applies to the current or first edition of these rules.

If you have an old Warhammer or Kings of War army, Warbands is a good game to get more mileage out of fantasy miniatures.

Even has a siege system. I'm interested to see if that will be in the updated rules!
