Something is not clear to me.
Page 2 describes the Character Cards.
Page 3 says there are two types of characters, called Stars and Grunts.
And that Star characters represent you, the player. It is suggested that Stars have a Rep of 5.
I don’t see any cards with art of a Good-Guy human with a Rep of 5.
Is the deck of characters all Grunts?
Also if the Star is me can I just pick my weapons and equipment or is there some sort of point cost construction matrix for building my Star Character?
And how is the Star Character represented on the Battle board?

Something is not clear to me. Okay got it. Board Game.Page 2 describes the Character Cards. Page 3 says there are two types of characters, called Stars and Grunts. And that Star characters represent you, the player. It is suggested that Stars have a Rep of 5. I don’t see any cards with art of a Good-Guy human with a Rep of 5. Is the deck of characters all Grunts? Because you can be any Character we didn't want to add extra cost/cards so just use the card and count the Rep as 5.Also if the Star is me can I just pick my weapons and equipment or is there some sort of point cost construction matrix for building my Star Character? Yep, just pick them, but nothing magical. Those you find. Didn't want to have players start with nothing and have to adventure around to find things. And how is the Star Character represented on the Battle board? Just use a counter that matches it. Knight, Caster, Archer etc. Hope this helps.

I don't know how familiar you are with THW or gaming in general, so I'll wax eloquent for a moment and if none of it helps, I'll apologize in advance.
THW is more about the story and less about the nuts and bolts. It doesn't matter so much if you start with a sword or an ax, but how did you get that weapon? Did the ax belong to grandpa, who was a woodsman? Did you <ahem> "find" the sword in an army's camp or at a blacksmith's shop? How does that tie in to your character's background, and what adventures can that lead to? Are you hunting the critter that ate grandpa or on the run from the army/blacksmith?

Thank you for the feedback. I was talking about the Board game and I'm not familiar with the regular game system. I have a suggestion for an edit of the game tokens. On the token punch, sheet of card stock, there are blank unused tokens. Perhaps turn a couple of the blanks into Rep 5 markers. I could then place that token on the card to identify it as my Star.

I'll mention it to Jeff. Thanks, good idea.

If you are updating tokens at some point, please consider throwing in some more serpents, orcs, and ogres. Not enough are included of these to populate full low life or minion encounters versus a star with a band of three.
Thanks! Matt

The Big Bad table on page 15 might need updating - serpent is listed as both Big Bad and Minions.
