2 Hour Dungeon Crawl Rules Questions

Hoping some of you can answer some questions for 2 Hour Dungeon Crawl for me.



-What do Shields do? Everywhere I've seen it says they make you harder to hit and count as a +1D6 to Melee Combat similar to Two Weapons, but in the actual Example they treat it as a +1 to Combat instead.



-Out of the Fight recovers to one lower than original Rep. I know the -1 Rep for Melee goes away after the fight, I assume the Out of the Fight -1 Rep stays until the Dungeon ends or is it permanent?



-Does anyone have a Character Sheet? Seems like there's a good amount of info to keep track of in terms of Races and abilities for your Star and his Grunts, but no sheet is provided.

Giving the shield a +1d6 in combat makes you harder to hit because melee is based on the number of successes. So two Rep 4s fight, one has a shield. He rolls 5d6 the other rolls 4d6. Big advantage.
It also protects you in the same way. The number of successes you score MORE than the enemy is the Impact - what you roll against to cause damage. If you roll an extra d6 you have a greater chance of scoring successes, so defends you if you lose in melee by reducing the Impact.  Bottom line it lets you roll 1d6 more.

You can use this one from Talomir Tales. Can't believe it's been 5 years since 2HDC came out.
