NUTS Czechoslovakia 1938 - The War That Never Was
“This is the national program from London. Today, Czechoslovakia has stunned the world by rejecting the Munich Agreement and declaring that any move by Germany to annex the Sudetenland will be considered an act of war.”
BBC, September 1938 (fictional)
If Czechoslovakia had rejected the Munich Agreement and held onto the Sudetenland, they might have posed a significant challenge to Germany. Despite Germany's military advantage, they weren't fully prepared for a major war in 1938. Czechoslovakia's industrial capabilities and defensive terrain could have prolonged the conflict, potentially leading to international support and internal pressures within Germany.
This 50-page book includes:
5150 New Hope City PI - When the Cops Just Won't Do
A 5150 New Beginnings Supplement Book
Like every place else, New Hope City has laws for its inhabitants to live by. It has Police to enforce them. But not all laws are created equal or equally enforced. If you're a Mover of Shaker in the City, you have instant access to the legal system 24/7. But if you're not, well, sometimes the Cops just won't do.
That's where the PI comes in. Short for Private Investigator the PI is the guy or gal you go to when the Cops can't or won't do their job -- or when you can't go to the Cops. Life isn't always black and white and the PI works in the gray area in between law...and, well, you know. In New Hope City PI we take you into their world. As a PI you'll be offered a variety of crimes to solve, those that the Police won't touch for one reason or another. Inside the 62-page NHC PI you'll find:
Smokers - The Unregulated Pulp Boxing Game
If they pay you to take a dive, take the dive!
A “smoker” is the informal name given to an illegally staged and unregulated boxing match. They usually occurred in the early and mid-1900’s and is perfect for Pulp games. Smokers were fights held for money, were bet on, and took place in informal settings, such as onboard a merchant ship, or in a smoke-filled club or hall – hence the name smoker.
Anyone wishing to watch a match was required to obtain a membership card and paid an entry fee. The boxers were paid "training expenses." The local authorities usually turned a blind eye to these bouts. When pressed, the promoters termed these bouts to be "amateur" fights.
Smokers is a complete game and revolves around two Fighters boxing till only one remains standing.
Inside you´ll find:
• An easy to learn but tough to master Boxing game.
• Bring your Pulp PI Character into the Fight Game.
• Be a Fighter and gain some notoriety .
• Bet on the Fights or be a Fighter to win some bucks.
• Go Chillin’, find a Job or maybe something better.
• All this and much more.
