I hope my question can be answered easily and I’ve just missed something obvious in the rules..
Lets assume the following two scenarios:
1.) In a solo game the player won the initiative / activation roll and gets to activate before the PEFs this turn. Activation dice results : Player (5), PEF (4) 2.) In a solo game the player lost the initiative / activation roll to the PEFs who get to activate first this turn. Activation dice results : Player (2), PEF (4)
In both situations a PEF resolution is triggered, either because the player moved a unit into LoS of a PEF (scenario 1) or a PEF moved into the players LoS (scenario 2). An in-sight test is triggered and the resulting firefight between the player and the newly spawned NP enemy (Leader REP 3) is concluded. For the sake of my question let’s assume that some soldiers of the NP unit survived.
My question concerns what happens next: Does the NP Enemy still get an activation in the same turn (after the firefight)?
In scenario 1, the enemy side (PEFs and NP units) haven’t taken their turn yet. Both PEF and the NP unit meet the requirement since their REP is equal to or below the activation roll. I would assume the NP unit gets to activate?
In scenario 2, the PEF already activated and moved into LoS of the player, resulting in the NP unit appearing. So would the NP unit get to take a regular turn after the firefight, or does the PEF movement beforehand count as its turn activation?
Thanks!

PEFs move when active. You only activate once per turn so that is their one activation for the turn. Scenario 1, as the player activated first, the PDF can now activate. Scenario 2 PEF activated so that's their one activation for the turn. Hope this helps.
