Additionally, you can find items at more affordable prices, such as three titles for $15, for instance.

Well... now I've got the "More Than a Grunt" rules, which is exactly what I was looking for, on account of I always like making random rolls for relationship drama! (No, not sarcasm, seriously live it!)
The Wargame Vault shopfront raised a new question for me, though:
5150: New Beginnings (2023 edition).
Is this the 2021 printing of New Beginnings, with the core rules updated as in the Chain Reaction 2023 system? Are there additional changes?

2021? This one is more detailed but doesn't use the CR 2023 shooting.

Say, another question! 5150: Contact in Space... does this provide additional mechanics or granularity beyond what is presented in New Beginnings and Known Space? Or is it more like the space combat mechanics extracted and refined into a stand-alone game?
Trying to sort out how much of a completionist I want to be...

Contact in Space is a stand-alone drawn from New Beginnings and Known Spaces, so if you have those books you're fine. There's also a free ship control sheet on the Patreon page: www.patreon.com/posts/5150-light-sheet-100948441That ties into 5150 Exo-Miner which has resource tokens you can place in Hull/Hold Spaces. There's a 5150 merchant book in draft that will also have trade good and passenger tokens, about running your own merchant business.

So, in case y'all were wondering, yes. You, Ed, and company are saying (and doing) exactly the right things to make me soon forsake my vow to only buy gaming stuff a la carte, and maybe actually subscribe to a Patreon. Then I can re-live those early-90s Wing Commander: Privateer glory days...
