I'm in the middle of a Patrol.action. I take fire from an MG42, but the gunner only passes 1 die. One of the options is that if the target is a second target or higher it returns fire. Does
this mean that all the targets in the swath get to fire. As it turns out, the first return shot killed the mg gunner. However, a n answer would be great for future reference. I'm fighting a
mini-Carentan campaign where both sides are Airborne. A little company called Artizan does great US paratroopers in the M42 uniform they were wearing through Normandy. They
paint up very well, and the officer is a nicely-animated figure.

Be mindful of the Outgunned ratings. The LMG has a rating of 4. Even if missing, only targets with weapons having an Outgunned rating of 4 or higher return fire. Other targets are outgunned and duck back instead of returning fire.

Yep, outgunned takes precedence. Now let say the shooter had a SMG and the three targets had an SMG. As there is no outgunning the 2nd and 3rd would return fire.
