Hello, I just wanted to play Scenario 16.5 „Hold the Bridge“ (page 50). Under 16.5.4 Deployment, first bullet: „The attackers… entering… from… sections 7, 8 and 9.“ Under 16.5.5 Special Instructions, fifth bullet: „When you (defender?) activate… move… into section 7, 8 and 9…“
Question: For holding/defending the bridge, shouldn’t‘t the defender deploy/move into section 1, 2 (where the bridge is located) and 3 instead of 7, 8 and 9? So - is 16.5.5 bullet five correct? Do both armies move onto the battlefield at the same edge an „run“/fight parallel to the bridge at the opposite edge?
I just discovered that there are more scenarios with this deployment on the same edge (16.1, 16.2) ?
Cheers, Ronald

Here's the correct info. The bridge should be in section 8. The defender sets up in section 7, 8, and/or 9 as desired. The attacker will then enter in sections 1,2 3,4 5 and/or 6 as rolled.
The correct deployment is player always in 7, 8, and/or 9. PDFs deployed in sections 1,2,3,4,5 and /or 6.
Hope this helps. Ed

Hello Ed,
I‘m sorry … should have read 16.5 „Hold the Bridge“ in detail. First line: „ …you (attacker) are trying to capture the bridge.“ Therefore it is absolutely correct, that (you) the attacker enters into section 7, 8 and 9! And it is correct that the bridge is in section 2(!) and the defender PEFs deploy in sections 1 to 6.
Mea culpa
Cheers, Ronald
