Nice reports! I liked how you bring out the "story," even in a basically straight-up wargame, and how the campaign rules help with that.
It's making me wish I had space for a full-sized table... I'm playing on a 2-foot square with 15mm and 1/72. Gets the job done, though!

One question occurs to me:
I'd always rolled 1d6 for initial PEF placement, where the PEF goes in the zone corresponding to the rolled number, and never in a potential friendly deployment zone.
In your patrol mission, one of the PEFs started in zone 7.
Are you rolling/placing differently than me, or am I missing something?

According to the rules it could only start in sections 1 through 6 based on a d6 roll. Maybe John's tweaking the rules to fit his scenario which is a good thing to do.

Absolutely! Just wanted to make sure I hadn't been confused on the base rules.

One-way to alter where PEFs are placed is: Start with your current Investment Level (page 62). Subtract your IL from the enemy IL. Modify the d6 result by the difference. Never less than 1. Example - My IL is 4 the enemy is 2. That's a -2 difference. I roll a 4 and it converts to 2. Later My IL is 2 and the enemy is 3. That's a +1 difference. I roll a 6 and it converts to 7.

A little bit, but it's just as likely that I chose an early game photo after the German PEFs had already moved once. I took a LOT of photos! Next time I'll post a video of the Attack Mission, its a bit detailed and I'm still working on it!

Hell Hath no Fury game report. We wanted to try out the new Hell Hath no Fury system with a Patrol Mission, which we'll add to the ongoing NUTS D-Day Campaign alongside the Infantry campaign. We'll focus this Mission on Platoon Sgt Dave Smith, the second in command of a 5-tank Sherman tank Platoon with the 67th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division. Sgt Smith has been tasked to patrol towards St. Lo as part of the Allied advance from the Normandy beach head. Great battle report. The Nuts! character sheets / cards you printed off look pretty awesome too.
