Hello! I am new to the ATZ End of Days game, I have not played the previous games, and I have some doubts after reading the rules, I see that it is quite focused to play with Battle Board and I am a bit confused about what I am interested in, the Tabletop rules.
I use a translator as my English is not very good.
1. During the turn you can only do ONE action per character in the group:
- Shoot - Charge into Melee - Recover out of the fights - Recover from duck back and leave the fight.
I understand that moving is not an Action, right? Do you move before or after the Action during your Activation or is it indifferent?
2. Return Fire: when returning fire it says that "cannot exceed the number of shots for the Weapon", if I have a weapon with 3 shots and I return fire only once, do I fire one shot or 3 to the shooter who shot me?
3. "Out of the Fight: to capture the character either remove both off the Battle board when next active ..." ... This playing on the Battle board is the same? suddenly they disappear? it doesn't make much sense.
4. Nighttime Visibility is also used for the Tabletop?
5. How do you do a in-Sight Test? I don't see it in the rules.
6. What are the Reactions? Just Return Fire and Shoot when charged in Melee? Do NPCs always return fire in these cases?
7. The Combat Will when is it resolved? is the first group activated and after the actions and reactions both groups do the Combat Will Test? or is it done after both groups are activated?
8. I don't understand on page 4 the Free Will example "Billy decides to cut his losses; Billy had grabbed the Out of the Fight Char when he was Active, and the trio leave the table instead of rolling on the Will to Fight Table".... Billy is supposed to be a Protagonist? out of the fight char? I don't understand
9. Any difference in being one class or another? if I'm a loner and someone joins my gang I stop being a loner?
Possible errors?
- Ragers are Rep 4 but in all the "Who or what are they?" it says Rep 3.
- On page 79, there is a character that has Slow Attribute, this Attribute is not in the rules and does not explain how it is.
- On page 12, "Example - Billy Pink is in a Town and needs to resolve a PEF. There's something out there. He rolls on the Town column and scores a 3. Zeds.".... Zeds? A 3 in Town were Humans according to the Table.
- In scenario #11 Find (page 68), in Searching, when rolling the die 4 or 5 is the same result as if you roll a 6, I don't know if there is a mistake, if it was all the same it wouldn't have been put (4, 5 or 6)
??
Thanks! I hope no more doubts arise xD
