Hello everyone,
Has someone developed a game mechanism to support a Stealth mode of play ?
For example, I would like to play a heist in the middle of a medieval city by night, with guards patrolling the area, and make sure that a stealthy approach is more efficient that direct combat. The player characters would have to get to a certain place to get whatever they are after, and then go to an extraction point. The extraction point could be different is they are detected or not. I guess it could transform quickly in a chase scene.
Thanks!

Try this, coming out soon - Werewolf of Talomir.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS • The Raid will happen during the Nighttime.
2 TOWN AT NIGHT (Taken versus Rep and Encounter Rating of 3) #D6 PASSED RESULT More SUCCESS: You move through the streets quietly, drawing no attention. Same QUIET: You move through the streets but not as quiet as you should. Count a +1 to the Encounter Rating for each time you reach this result. Less CONTACT: You have met enemies.

Use it when resolving a PEF when moving about town.

If you are playing on a table, you could use the Challenge Test as needed. As you move down a street, {Challenge Test}: Pass 2 = you hear a patrol coming and hide in an alley until they pass, Pass 1 = you think you hear a patrol coming and hide in alley but no one passes, Pass 0 you run right into a patrol (treat as resolving a PEF)
Patrols move forward when they activate, roll for them to change direction at intersections. This lets you play out some of those evasion games like on your phone. You'll probably have too much info since you can see the table, so throw in some random PEFs as you move along.

Or even when resolving a PEF on the Battle Board.
