Dear Ed. Thank you for all your advice. I would like to play 2HDC with my wife. But I don't have much imagination, so I don't really understand how exactly we can do cooperative play with it. Do we each create one warband and dive into the dungeon? If you have any suggestions on how to play in a fun way with as little time as possible, could you please suggest them to me? I am using an internet translation service, so this may be an odd sentence, sorry. Thank you in advance.

Have her and you in the same warband, playing together. This gives her a chance to learn how the game plays. Hope this helps.

You and she would roll 1 activation die, since you are both on the same side. The enemy, probably orcs, would roll 1 activation die since they are the other side.
Have you ever played Dungeons and Dragons or another role playing game? It would be like that.

As everybody say, play together in the same side. Give her a character with bow or a Caster with spells while you can play close combat as a fighter or even better, asign one follower to each of you and make a party of four so if you or your wife gets killed you can still play with the other character. Have fun!
