Hola,
Having recently read a few accounts of trench raids/ small actions undertaken during WW1 I was wondering how best to run a solo Trench Raiding game using THW rules?
It seems the PEF mechanic would work really well, but how to implement it to give that 'around every turn could be an enemy' feel without having too many encounters?
I'm also not familiar with the use of grenades (in this case mills bombs or stielhandgrenate) under THW rules (I don't play NUTS of FNG), any guidance, input, thoughts on creating a Trench Raid flavoured THW game would be most gratefully received.
EDIT - Just a thought, perhaps adapting Two Hour Dungeon Crawl might be the way forward with each 'room' becoming a section of trench??
Tally Ho!

The THW Dungeon Crawl would be great. Just establish the number of PDFs by Campaign Morale. For example - Start with a Campaign Morale of 5. If you resolve all the PEFs and are still functioning - basically you won - then drop the Campaign Morale by 1 point. Can't go back up even if you lose. Grenade not sure as I don't know what THW rules you have and have used.
