One thing that has been missing from the Nuts rules for me has been any penalty to firing at longer ranges, I just feel there would be a difference firing a weapon at 20-50yrds and at 100-200yrds or more Take small arms firing over half of their range and apply a penalty maybe? For example: A LMG with a range of 48" if shooting over 24" apply -1 Rep to the shooter or maybe the fast move penalty on a 8 on the shooting table or maybe someone knows of another idea or solution, or maybe I'm just wrong about the whole thing? any thoughts or comments welcome

Was done before but the way tables are set up it's hard to have long ranges between terrain pieces. Easiest way is the penalty on rolling an 8 if over half range.
