I have a question about the rules for Star Army Citizen Soldier.
On page 17 of the rulebook, in the Resolving Fire example, it says "Since Gnarly has reached this result before, he Ducks Back instead." Where in the rules does it explain why Gnarly cannot choose to Return Fire again and must Duck Back?
Thanks for reading.

Page 15. Here it is. TWO REACTIONS AT ONCE There may be times when a figure is carrying out a Reaction Test result is forced into another Reaction. When this occurs, the figures suffer the worse result. From best to worse: • Return Fire. • Duck Back. • Leave the Fight.
So, he received Duck Back which is worse than Return Fire so must Duck Back. Hope this helps

Dear Ed, Thank you for your prompt reply.
In the "Two Reactions At Once" example on page 15, the second Gaea Prime soldier's shot hit the target and the Duck Back result was scored, so I understood what you meant by "suffer the worse result".
Your response helped me understand that the second Reaction Test automatically scores the one worse result, regardless of whether the shot hit or missed.
Thank you very much.
