Hey y'all! Without any spoilers needed I wanted to mention I've successfully played through the mission. It did take me playing through it a second time to complete it - as the first time was a TPK - and the second time I still had 3 of my 5 wind up obviously dead. But my main PC & a secondary PC now have another adventure they've completed together. My PCs have successfully recruited 3 replacements for the group to be at full strength before they take on "Sudden Death" the next mission I'll be playing through. I wanted to thank everyone who had a hand in making the adventure possible. It was a great experience when it was all said and done! If anyone else has played through it please share your experience I'd like to see how it turned out for you too

Thanks for posting. Glad you like it and giving it a go. The best part of New Beginnings is you can play the Encounters over and over and get different results. FYI The NPCs in the Encounters will be in the upcoming A Night at the Fights.

Can't wait to see what A Night at the Fights is like! I'd been playing around with AFN "Alien Fight Night". I've used a match of 10 boxers fighting to see which one comes out #1. I included 3 judges per fight and gave the boxers/judges names, races, and number of times they appeared as boxers/judges. I would roll randomly for which pair of boxers would fight and also for the 3 judges. Plus, when a boxer was eliminated I'd try and describe a look at their life after the match. One became a reporter, one a detective, etc. I had fun with it. I'm guessing A Night at the fights will provide professionally linked scenes but I don't know what to expect. The part about the NPCs being included sounds intriguing. I like that style of incorporating things making for a great story too
