Still trying to learn the rules, I tried a confrontation.
My team of 4:
Matthaius (star) - Rep 5, B-2
Samuel - Rep 3, P-1
Sarah - Rep 3, P-1, Crack Shot
Isaac - Rep 4, P-1
The oppponents, using the table for gangers found on page 162
- I roll a 2 for the number of opponents, so 1 less, 3 gangers
- Roll for the leader, a 3, so the gangers are:
A - Ganger, Rep 4, B-2
B- Ganger, Rep 3, A-3
C - Thief, Rep 4, P-1
Placing them on the battle board per the rules:
B A C
Sam Matt Sarah Isaac
ROUND 1:
Rolling for advantage: 5, Gangers have the advantage
Rolling on the action table Both pass 2d6, so gangers Act first.
Targeting first shot:
B shoot at sam
A, shoot at Matt
C, shoot at Sarah.
Targeting second shot:
B shoot at Isaac (Can't shoot at the same target unless all opponents have been targeted once
A shoot at Matt
Targeting third shot:
B shoot at Sam (I suppose you can't shoot at a target a 3rd time unless every target was shot at 2 times?)
Resolving the actions:
1- B shoot twice at Sam and once at Isaac, roll a 2 and a 5, so pass 1d6. Sam is hit 2 times, but miss Isaac who will return fire. Rolling damage for Sam: Two 5's, +2 since Sam doesn't have armor. Sam is Obviously Dead.
2- Isaac return fire, 2 and 4, a hit. Damage: 1, +2 because target has no armor, B is Out of the fight.
3- A shoot twice at Matt: 5 and 6, Miss and Matt can return fire.
4- Matt Return fire: 5 and 6, Hit on 1d6 and return fire. Damage: 3 +2 (no armor). A is Out of the fight.
5- Since A is out of the Fight, I suppose it can't return fire?
6- C shoots at Sarah, 4 and 5, pass 1d6, so hit. Roll a 3 +2 (no armor). Sarah is out of the fight.
Will to fight test:
1- 5 and 2 for the Gangers: pass 1d6 so two figures leave the battle board. Only C is able to leave.
2- 4 and 5 for me: Pass 2d6 and no more than 50% are Out of the fight or dead. So I stay.
3- Before leaving the fight, we take the Weapons of the dead and OOTF characters, a B-2 and A-3
Recovery:
Sarah rolls a 5 and a 6. So she does not recover and won't come back to the band.
Any mistakes you can spot?
