Hello all, I am the newest Nuts! player (unless someone just started playing while I'm typing) and wanted to say hello. I got Nuts! a couple of weeks ago and tried to get familiar with the rules before I started. Then came the Thanksgiving break (I live in Virginia, US). Being used to games like Bolt Action (which I really like), I found the chain reaction system took a little getting used to. So to make things easier, I simplified all of the tables and dice tests just so I didn't have to refer back and forth. It really helped and I found I could play 1-2 squads vs. PEF's with relative ease (I only play solo). I must admit, this system is FUN and fast-moving! I found myself making up narrative as I was going along, something I don't usually do when playing. Still trying out all the rules and different weapons, and deciding whether or not to add back some of the more intricate features of the game, or stick with my "thinner" version which seems to work pretty well. Either way, I'm enjoying this new game and rules immensely and look forward to picking up ideas from this forum. Stay safe!

Another addict begins their slide to the Dark Side ππ€£π
Like many before you, once you get the Reaction System under your belt you'll never go near a IGO UGO game again.
Have fun, and if you run into any rules questions then this forum is THE place to get any answers.

You've got it figured out. Tweak the rules as needed to make it your game. We're here for questions as they come up.
