Hi All!!
I'm new to 2-hr Wargames rules and am digesting Long Rifle. The part that is most challening for me is movement. The rules state "When one figure enters sight of an opposing Band the rest of the Band is moved into sight as well." How does this work? Is the whole band required to move into the enemy's LOS? If they would prefer to move in a different direction that would not place them in LOS, is that allowed?
Thank you!

Hi All!!
Here goes.
I'm new to 2-hr Wargames rules and am digesting Long Rifle. The part that is most challening for me is movement. The rules state "When one figure enters sight of an opposing Band the rest of the Band is moved into sight as well." How does this work? Here's how it works. You don't know what you could be facing in the PEF. So once you step out you have 2" of movement left. Step back out of sight or bring the rest of the guys out so they can see. Is the whole band required to move into the enemy's LOS? If they would prefer to move in a different direction that would not place them in LOS, is that allowed? Sure, if you want to. Once the PEF is resolved as enemy it stays on the table and moves as well. Hope this helps. Ed
Thank you

Thank you Ed! That is helpful. Sounds pretty flexible. Though I'm sure other questions will come up!
