Thats great for beginners. Just bare in mind the new WHAT rules state that a side only takes the Will To Fight roll if they suffer an OOF or OD. Also Ed. How the hell do I have more stars than you? Thats insane!

It only looks like you have more stars. You fail to realize that Ed's stars are made of many, many smaller stars.

Or maybe its a colour thing and red stars are the top currency!

Maybe he reset his stars and started again several times?

Battle Boards will work with Future Tales, correct?

Should work with everything, just treat the In Sight Table as the Action Table.

On page 42 of Future Tales you will see the "PEF's without the tabletop" section. Future Tales is awesome, by the way.

I must have overlooked that. Thank you very much. Another reason why this board is so valuable. I am really excited about getting into Pulp SciFi with these rules. I backed the Star Schlock Kickstarter in a big way so I am expecting a whole slew of pulpy space goodness later this year.

I missed that too. Last year I paired back my games to only the ones I could easily play. I threw out Future Tales. What a bozo. I’ll have to a order a print copy again sometime...

I had actually forgotten about it until Paul mentioned it! Now he's got me revisiting the rules set now. I think it was the first set to use the modern 2d6 system.

You may be right. I have a soft spot for pulp sci-fi. I would’ve been very happy if 5150 was more Flash Gordon. I loved those old black & white sci-fi series where the rocket ship has to circle in to land because the special effects were almost non existent.

Surely you can play 5150 in any setting/ genre of Sci-Fi you wish? I have often used the rules for 'Flash Gordon' type games. (I don't Own Future Tales)
