Greetings one and all, first time poster here, with a question-
Where might I find the most recent example of a chart or table, that addresses the time it takes for a muzzle-loading firearm to be re-loaded, and fire again?
That is, having fired once, and as a consequence then being "unloaded", how is it determined at what point the weapon may be fired again?
I know there must be a treatment of the issue, I've just no relevant Two Hour products that cover the period.
Thanking you, in advance, for any responses.

The way mostly used is easy. 1 - Fire when active, returning fire, or being charged. 2 - Reload when NEXT Active. Cannot fire. Hope this helps.

Nice, every now and again, to be able to look back and remember my early introduction to THW product-

That is so cool. One of the originals - 22 years ago. Got THW to people's attention.

The Reload test on Page 6 of Long Rifle (2020) allows for variation between rifles and smoothbores, and also gives higher-Rep characters a small RoF advantage. It does add a bit more die-rolling, though.

Thanks for that.
Will have to put a copy of Long Rifle on the short-term wish list then.

Yes, but then, to avoid the coming of the apocalypse, you had to alter the cover art, just a little-

Yes, so funny. They came unglued on the Miniatures Page. LOL Now you've done it.
Going to have to see if I can find the posts.
Assume this was in 2002?

Yep. Let me know if you can. Then Ron "Baddawg" Strickland got on there and laid them all low. He was one of the play testers and a Vietnam vet. First class guy, miss him. He had experience in real life firefights and conveyed how they worked to me.

Thread numbers prior to about mid-August don't appear to be readily accessible, returning "no topic" results as you scroll back, one by one, through the chronology.
This, coupled with some kind of server issue at about the same time makes it seem that the records may simply no longer exist.
My initial searches weren't helped as I didn't initially realize you ran two slightly different named accounts.
Dawgie [appearing on TMP as "DAWGIE"] used to frequent the old yahoo group too, didn't he?
I've still got some of his notes on... fortifications and building hacks for earlier CR/FNG, kicking around somewhere.
Don't think I ever exchanged posts with him, but he always struck me as a well-grounded sort of guy.
I'm going to do some searching for Dawgie's posts.
Perhaps, some of your early contributions may surface in connection with any of his I can find.

Yep, couldn't find the posts either. Yes, Dawgie was a great guy. He was on the Yahoo Group a lot. Hated when Yahoo canned all the groups.

DAWGIE's posts, and/or the records of them, go back no farther than March of 2006.
Seems that the Guns and Girls' debut posts on TMP have disappeared in the sands of time.

Maybe I should do a re-do?

Maybe I should do a re-do? A retro-revival of Guns and Girls?
Re-print it, as was done originally, offer a print version, and I'm in.
I've only a PDF, courtesy of your good self, which was acquired in 2012.
Of course, I'd expect to see the limited edition reprint advertised in places like TMP.
