How do you represent Black Moon Elves vs Silver Elves in your games? In the Warrior Heroes To Be King army lists, the two nations field much the same troop types. The main cultural differences appear to be the result of alignment during the Great War between the Black Moon and Red Sun several hundred years before the time period WHAT is set in.
Do you represent them as physically different? In Forgotten Realms, the Drow are dark skinned, while the surface elves are of a pale complexion. In Warhammer, the Dark Elves have skin so light as to be nearly white, while the High Elves have fair skin, & Wood Elves have tanned skin.
In both Forgotten Realms & Warhammer, the different elves are separated by vast distances. WHAT is more like Dragonlance & other fantasy worlds in that the elves are separated by only a few hundred miles.
Most miniature lines follow the Warhammer & D&D Drow model for dark elves - Use of giant spiders, raptors as mounts, etc. Whereas, miniatures for all of the other elves follow the descriptions laid out by Tolkien.
Anyway, my NaNoWriMo project this year will take a deeper look at the Elves in Talomir. I kind of wanted to find out how you all represent them in your version of Talomir.
I've got other Talomir questions, but they're not about the elves.
