With the Wargame Vault sale I finally picked up Red Streets Blue Mats (and Red Sand Black Moon, but one thing at a time). Coming from Heroes of the Arena, most of it seems pretty clear to me but there are a few things with signatures that I would like to clear up.
1) There are some signatures that have different names but seem to have the same effect. (Lightweight/Fighting above Weight Class, Guile/Wary, Hardened Body/Resilient, Dim/Slow Mover, Shortsighted/Slow, and Boxer/Striker.) Since there is only one pair with both versions appearing on the same table (Dim/Slow Mover on the Mixed Martial Arts Signatures table), I am guessing the others are thematic differences rather than mechanical differences but am uncertain if that would apply to the Dim/Slow Mover pair.
2) Two of the style specific signature tables (Judo and Aikido) have the possibility of rolling a result that has no signature. In both cases the lines for 2d6 rolls of 4-5 after a 1d6 roll of 5 are not present. Are those lines missing from the table, or is there an intentional chance of no signature?
3) The Jiu-Jitsu style is the only style that includes four signatures and the only one that includes a disadvantage signature (Slow Mover). Is Jiu-Jitsu supposed to have four, or is one of them (hopefully Slow Mover)
4) The Kung-Fu and Mixed Martial Arts styles only include two signatures. The rules mention those two styles having access to the Mixed Martial Arts Signatures table, then refer back to adding additional signatures. Does that mean that those two styles have a random signature, then add an additional random signature (and a chosen one for stars)?

With the Wargame Vault sale I finally picked up Red Streets Blue Mats (and Red Sand Black Moon, but one thing at a time). Coming from Heroes of the Arena, most of it seems pretty clear to me but there are a few things with signatures that I would like to clear up.
Here goes.
Correct.
Should be 2 – 5 instead of 2 – 3.
3) The Jiu-Jitsu style is the only style that includes four signatures and the only one that includes a disadvantage signature (Slow Mover). Is Jiu-Jitsu supposed to have four, or is one of them (hopefully Slow Mover) Yep, 4. I’ll default to the author on that one.
Correct, add a random one and choose one for Stars.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. That does help. It just seemed strange that those three styles have a different number of signatures and are noticeably cheaper than the others.
I noticed a couple of the pre-generated characters listed ratings don't match my calculations.
Boris: 6/6/6 Sambo (+15) with Guile (+9) 18*3+15+9 = 78/10 = 7.8, rounded to 8, listed rating of 6
Chan: 4/4/4 Kung Fu (+9) with Lightweight (-9) 12*3+9-9 = 36/10 = 3.6, rounded to 4, listed rating of 3
Chun-Lee: 4/4/4 Kung Fu (+9) with Unlucky (-6) 12*3+9-9 = 39/10 = 3.9, rounded to 4, listed rating of 3
Are those are typos, or am I overlooking something?

Probably typos. Sorry.
