Each will have less dice rolling but same results. I'll be doing lots of demos before the KS launches once the samples arrive. Probably next week. Want product in hand before launch as I want to fulfill ASAP after it ends.
NUTS! was nominated for an Origins Award for Best Miniatures Game back in 2005. It lost to All Things Zombie – another one of our games. That was 20+ years ago. Since then we updated the rules to match how gamers have changed. Well, gamers, including me, have changed again. Sometimes we want a quick and easy game to play. No miniatures, rulers, or terrain on the tabletop. Something we can set up in about five minutes and get playing. We still want realistic results and games that are fun to play. Sometimes we don’t want to sweat the details and just want to play the game. That’s why we’ve made NUTS: Quick Play. It’s a standalone game that is compatible with our miniatures WW2 game, NUTS! You can blend them together, move from one to the other with your same Star and Squad. Have plenty of time to play? Use NUTS! Want a quick yet entertaining game? That’s NUTS: Quick Play.

I might actually have a go at NUTS with the quick play version. Sounds like I want a few of them. Now I’m a bit older I struggle to play anything technical in the evening after work .

For me it's about stringing together games that tell a Story, give my Characters history, and I can play 2 or 3 in an hour or two.

I like the idea of bouncing between light mechanics and crunchy mechanics based on how I feel in the moment. That’s certainly not something I’ve seen before.
