I have a terrain question concerning the Brethren & a possible answer which I would like to know how close it is to being correct.
In the Warrior Heroes To Be King rules, it is the defender who sets up terrain and in each army list the amount of terrain is given as a modifier + 1/2d6 pieces of terrain. Valkae for instance has "1+1/2d6" pieces of terrain & Kurinthia has "3+1/2d6" pieces and so on.
However, the army list for the Brethren has a "0" in the terrain column. I don't think this is a mistake, because the Brethren do not rule any nation in Talomir. So, it the Brethren is the defender for a game, I think you would use the terrain for the country in which the Brethren are located. As example, if a Orc army attacks land in the Ekra which the Brethren control, as defender, the Brethren would use the terrain setting for Ekra, "1+1/2d6". Is this correct?
Also, the rules state the Brethren have holdings in Altengard, Ekra & Treyene. If a Brethren force were operating in Sortium, for example, and were attacked by a force from Malohades, would the Brethren use the terrain setting for Sortium, "2+1/2d6"?
Thanks.
