Anyone doing Camp NaNoWriMo next month? I'll be writing a scenario book for WHAT & set my month's goal at 25,000 words. The rest of this month will be spent doing the campaign map & encounter outlines. Hopefully, something folk will want to play will come out of it.

I love the idea of writing competitions but I’m always too lazy to get involved. I’m also never happy with my writing style, but I know that practice is the most important thing for any skill. Good luck with your project; I look forward to seeing what you create. And maybe it will give me a nudge to being more creative.

NaNoWrMo seems to have become a great way for people to kick out THW titles. Best of luck to you.
My boss and I are having a little friendly competition to see who hits 20k first. He’s working on his fantasy story and I’ll be revising my project from last November, in hopes of turning it ibto something that could, by sone miracle, get published.

I want to get my story to 75k since I read that’s a good size for a first novel. I just added another 1000, leaving me with only 10k to add. Problem is I have no clue how I’m going to add 30 pages to this.
The story takes place in a small town, mostly in the main character’s home, and with only a handful of named characters. I’m going to read through it a few times and hopefully get some ideas.

Thanks. I actually do many of those. After reading some of my story, I did add a few sentences, so maybe more will come as I go through it more in depth.

Last day of NaNo. How did everyone do? I got my story from past Nov up to 72k. I didn't reach my 75 k word count goal, but I think that's the best it's going to get. I'm going to put it aside for a bit and then come back later for more reivisions. Then I'll figure out how this agent thing works.
For November, I'm thinking of just having some fun and writing a fantasy story. So I'll spend the summer performing 'research,' in the form of playing games like Talomir Tales over and again for inspiration.

There’s another Camp in July. I might do my fantasy story then. Maybe I’ll borrow an idea from Floozy and make some chapters based on AARs from Talomir Tales.

I flopped big time. I got halfway through & then got distracted painting minis & building terrain. Dreamcatcher released their new song "Maison" & won 1st on two different music shows. Moonbyul released her hit "Cheese in the Trap" a week later. Then on the 29th, I received my African Village set from Acheson Creation & Psy released his new song "That, That" which is going to be a mega hit much like his "Gangnum Style" of 10 years ago. Plus doing physical therapy twice a week took a lot out of me. So, I let my writing slide.
In short I spent more time painting & following K-Pop than writing. But I did get two CVL teams painted!
