Hello all Larger than Life went on special a few weeks ago. It was timely as I was just thinking about getting back into it after quite a few months going around and around with my own SF skirmish rules. To get back into the swing of it I played out the first story supplied with the rules. I used 28mm Heroscape figures and the Battlesystems Cyberpunk Core Set as terrain to give it an SF flavour. It was fun and getting ready to play out the second story. The replay of the first story is at this blog post: solostellarstories.blogspot.com/2021/09/larger-than-life-2020-version-included.htmlTo give you an idea of what to expect from the images, here is the Star and band (on the right) questioning the people to the left. I don’t have that many Heroscape figures to choose from :-) I think I have a few Warhammer figures I can dig up for some more variety.

I get a strong vibe of detective noir and cyberpunk from your write up. Especially when the same thug showed up again at the end…very Maltese Falcon. Thanks for sharing your entertaining write-up. Sounds like you’re on your way to some great adventures for your crew.
