I'm playing Solo a Patrol Mission. One partial squad in zones 1, 2, and 3. Zone 2 has a tank. First two turns, the PEFs are resolved with none identifying possible enemy forces. Since I'm new to Nuts! everyone is Rep 4 and no attributes were assigned to keep things simple.
Turn 3, Dice rolled G6 A1. On the reinforcement table, I rolled and passed 2d6, went to reinforcements - What are They? and rolled 3 & 4, passing 2d6's. Result was rest of platoon.
Rolling on where the replacements appear, zone 8 was the location and since there were no German forces, I placed two squads in Zone 8.
The Americans were located in zone 4 (open space), zone 5 (wooded area) and zone 6 (wooded area). All were visible to both sides.
Questions:
1. Are the reinforcements treated as PEF or NP?
2. I treated as NP (was this right)?
3. On the In Sight test, since none had passed the movement at the start of Turn 3, I chose the NP force as moving since it just appeared in Zone 8. Was this a correct assumption?
4. When rolling for who would win the In Sight, American in Zone 4, 1 success; Zone 5, 2 successes, and Zone 6 two successes. The Germans in Zone 8 both rolled two successes. Since it appeared the Americans won in Zone 7 & 8 and were stationary, they opened fired on the two German platoons. The Germans passed the Will to fight and fired back. Am I on the right track or am I making this more complicate than necessary?
All help and comments are appreciated.
Thanks
