Hello!
Just something that seems a bit confusing. In the chapter about groups, it is first stated that a group has to consist of at least two bands. Later on, however, groups of a single band are mentioned.
For game purposes, am I right to assume that individual bands that are not part of a multi-band group are simply handled just like groups rulewise (with the band leader also being the group leader)?
The rules initially mention that the star is automatically leader of their own band, but later on mention the possibility to be a non-leader member of another band. I suppose if I don't hire my own band, I can then play as a member of a band; it just wouldn't be mine, right?

Hello!
Just something that seems a bit confusing. In the chapter about groups, it is first stated that a group has to consist of at least two bands. Later on, however, groups of a single band are mentioned. Here goes.
A Band is one or more figures.
A group is multiple Bands.
For game purposes, am I right to assume that individual bands that are not part of a multi-band group are simply handled just like groups rulewise (with the band leader also being the group leader)? Yes.
The rules initially mention that the star is automatically leader of their own band, but later on mention the possibility to be a non-leader member of another band. I suppose if I don't hire my own band, I can then play as a member of a band; it just wouldn't be mine, right? Right. So Haldor is a Rep 5, has a bad encounter and drops to 4. Billy Pink the Thief is Rep 5. He coudl taken mover as leader and Haldor would be one of the band. or Haldor could just leave.

So let's say two bands, one of 2 figures with a Band Leader and one of three figures with a Band Leader. They can group togther and activate based on the Leader with the higher Rep.
