Will adventures in Talomir explore the entire world of Talomir? Is there a whole lot of difference between it and Distant Shores? Yep there's list for all the countries. Yes, it is different than Distant Shores but compatible. I want to put the latest mechanics into Warrior Heroes. More detail than Distant Shores but you can choose how detailed to go. Plus the Dungoen Crawl is much better. I can never have too many Dungeon Crawling rules. I’m always convinced there’s a better set around the corner!

Probably. Not sure when though. I assume I could just use the new To Be King rules for historical games. Would the RRTK historical lists still be applicable, or are there many changes to unit characteristics? Would need elephants and different types of chariots as well! Yep, old lists will work as they are what the newer lists are based on. The nice thing is that all you need to know is on the tables so if something didn't make it - like Undisciplined - can still use the units.

Takes the detail from old Warrior Heroes Legends and smooths it out

I’ve been reading the Conan books and would love to run games in tgat world. This seems like it’d work really well.

Interesting, thanks. Surprised Khitai (my favorite group) has no magic class. Yeah a few tweaks would make it perfect for WHL. Then I just need to add a few monsters, like ape-men, flying apes, elephant aliens, snake creatures, and flying whatever-they-are.
Thanks again.

Anything more you can share on Warring Fleets? Yep, here's the old school tabletop movement version. WarringFleets-Complete.pdf (810.9 KB) New version, quick and easy, let's get into the combat. Being a Fleet Commander the individual tactics used by the ships are done by the Captain. Who Fights Who.pdf (151.76 KB)

Well, well. Count me in for all three. I bought rally round the king but I admit I haven’t played it as it intimidated me. Like what I’m seeing thus far. Never done a big ship battle (or even a small one). Looks like a fun excuse to make some lovely galleon tokens!

I played lots of ships games - hell even a 6 hour Trafalgar game but the moving was too much for me. I would rather get into the action quickly and play more games - like in a Campaign.

I played lots of ships games - hell even a 6 hour Trafalgar game but the moving was too much for me. I would rather get into the action quickly and play more games - like in a Campaign. This sounds great. Very interested in fleet action for Talomir. How else is the island nation of Valkae supposed to spread their influence? Or defend their shores from invasion? This could add a whole new dynamic to a campaign, where the outcome of a naval battle could affect the size of an invasion force as it makes a landing on the defender's shore...that is, if they can make it past the defender's fleet. One idea is maybe for every 1 or 2 ships lost, one ground unit lost, determined by a roll on the army table. Or certain ships designated as "troop transports" and for every one of those lost, one army unit lost. Just a thought. It could add a lot of importance to those naval battles, and the countries of Talomir would have something else to spend their resources on besides army units. Any hints on how "To Be King" will differ from "Rally Round the King"?

Many thanks Ed for Warring Fleets! Downloaded. Does To be King use measured movement like the past RRTK or is it on battleboards?

Tabletop if using minis, especially those you may alreayd have based, but you can use the Battle Board if using the included counters. Also explains how to base minis as well.
