Thanks, even when I use a battle board, I usually throw on a piece or two of terrain just for eye candy while playing the encounter.
Terrain is something I struggle with. I'd rather buy it pre-made, but that can be expensive, besides, why spend money on terrain when I could buy more minis? Anyway, YouTube terrain building channels lie Black Magic Craft, Wyloch's Armory, Geek Gaming & The Terrain Tutor really help a lot.

Nice! I have done a build like this and used small bits of bent floral wire stuck into the edges of the wall as "rebar."

Really looks the part. You especially nailed the concrete color and I know that sounds funny but is not easy to do by any stretch.
