Well I guess it's sort of different.. The new blog is called The Quick and the Zed: The Darklands and it's a combination of Talomir Tales and All Things Zombie. I've wanted to merge the two rules series for quite a while, and figured that now is a good a time as any. The new blog is where I will be working on my own ATZ variant that I call All Things Zombie: Medi-EvilHere is the link to the new blog: Welcome to The Darklands

It looks like very interesting. Is going to be no just only zombies? I'm hoping to include other creatures from Talomir as well as Nations of Men on the blog. The zombies just play a larger prevalence in the scope of the blog due to the geographic area on Talomir I've chosen.

Will you replace the gunfire-attracts-zombies rule by something else? Screams when a human goes down or some kind of howling when a zombie charges a human?

I'd like to apologize for the delay in the second post on The Quick and the Zed: The Darklands. I am in the process of researching the geography and history of Talomir. It is quite time consuming, not to mention I am also trying to get caught up on the other blog. Again I apologize for the delay.

Whiteface / Oliver Gunfire doesn't really exist in the Talomir setting, so yes it will be replaced by something else. GENERATING ZOMBIES Zombies are generated in two different ways during the Encounter. The most common way is by resolving a PEF during the Encounter. The other way is attracting them by noise – that would be melee. Here’s how we do it: • When a turn ends, roll 1d6 for each non-zombie figures that were in melee, even if now Out of the Fight or Obviously Dead. • If you are already fighting zombies – a score of 1, 2 or 3 generates a new one. • If you are in the Darklands, a Black Moon Aligned country – a score of 1 or 2 generates a new one. • If you are in a Neutral or Red Sun Aligned country – a score of 1 generates a new one. Example – There were four non-zombie figures in melee with zombies. The turn ends and I roll 4d6. I score a 1, 2 4 and 5. Two new zombies arrive. NOW WHAT? So you’ve just taken out three Orcs, but generated four zeds from meleeing. What happens now? Here’s how we do it: • The zeds are treated as if they were resolved as a PEF. • Place the figures on the Battle Board as you normally would. • Fight them as you normally would. • But this time, you don’t have to roll for new ones, as you only do it once per PEF resolved. Example – Sir Pink attracted two new zeds. Fortunately he doesn’t have to roll for more new zombies. After the fight he moves on to the next regular PEF for the Encounter.

I'm actually working on the World book right now (which will also include a bestiary and lots of encounter tables), so please PM me what you develop, love to see it. And vis versa, if you let me know what areas your campaign is in, I may have some stuff written.

This is just a little update to let everyone who is interested, what is happening with the blog. Due to a vision problem I am dealing with I have decided to put the blog on hiatus until the problem is taken care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
