In the example on page 10, Pink's squad meets 8 bugs. Bugs move first and one charges Billy and is halted in place. Example says Billy acts and opens fire again. Does he continue his interaction with that bug. What are the other bugs and grunts doing? When do they act? Attachments:

In the example on page 10, Pink's squad meets 8 bugs. Bugs move first and one charges Billy and is halted in place. Example says Billy acts and opens fire again. Does he continue his interaction with that bug. What are the other bugs and grunts doing? When do they act? Here goes. Bugs act first and charge. ALL of Billy's squad fires at the Bugs that charge them, melees resolved if they occur. Will to Fight Taken. Then Billy acts and fires as do the other squaddies. Sorry could have been a bit more clearer saying that the Squad was now acting. Turn Sequence listed below After all the Characters are set up on the Battle Board, the fight begins. Here’s how we do it: • Consult the Action Table (page 17). • Each Leader now rolls 2d6 versus its Rep. BUGS win and act.• Determine how many d6 are passed. This determines which side is Active and what each Character can do. Squaddie's fire.• After the Active side has finished all of its actions, both sides take the Will to Fight Test (page 17). Bugs perform any melees. Both sides then take Will to Fight• After the Will to Fight Test is taken, if there are any Characters left on the Battle Board, the Inactive side becomes Active and can carry out its actions. Billy and the Squad fire.• After the newly Active side has finished all of its actions, both sides take the Will to Fight Test. Roll on Action Table.• Repeat the process until only one or no sides remain on the Battle Board.

Thanks, I think I understand now. Makes more sense that the short example. Yep, part of the problem with examples is I already know the conclusion and don't always go step by step. Glad the forum is here!
