I used to play 5150 Star Army, with the 1d6+REP>=10 mechanich for shooting. I know Chain Reaction 2018 use a more streamlined way of handle shooting, 2d6 and count success under REP.
Also the In Sight seems to be changed too, Star Army used a REP dice pool, counting success of 1,2 and 3. Chain Reaction 2018 uses again a 2d6, count success under REP.
I really like that almost all rolls are the same mechanic (2d6). Do the new versions of 5150 (Citizen Soldier and Cestus V) use 2d6 resolution?

Yes sir, they do. Streamlined mechanics yielding same results. Also dropped Impact. Instead you roll versus the target's Rep, modified as needed by armor or weapon type. So Rep 4 guy wearing soft armor adds 1 to d6 damage roll. I roll a 3, becomes a 4. 6 = Dead. Rep or higher but not 6 = OOF Less then Rep = Duck Back. No more stunned, knock down etc. Hope this helps, Ed
