Tabletop? Battle Board? Your game, your way. Follow the link and download the free PDF that shows you how to play all THW games with either the Battle Board or on the Tabletop.

Handy. Thanks. Sometimes I play a compromise between the two using counters and small map tiles. This helps as I haven’t written down how I do things yet and its been a bit jazz...

BTW - All of the rules on my site now have this doc in the, I use tabletop and Battle Board all the time, especially in a city game. Move on the table to a building, enter and it's Battle Board time.

Exactly. I just have to use illustration (tiles) because I have no space for a proper table top. Using both is how the cool cats roll ;-)

I‘m still trying to to create something between a battle board and a tabletop for myself. It‘s like playing a scene on just one of the nine sectors of the tabletop. Most of the time all the action on a table is concentrated in a small area anyway, with the other areas just being needed for running away.
On a side note, I think that By Savvy & Steel would be perfect for the updated rules. Just sayin‘. 😉

Just sayin‘. 😉 Whiteface / Oliver Great Hall Burning uses the area movement method which I like a lot since it takes out any player decision making for the AI side when it comes to movement. One move = one section. No measuring for movement or weapon ranges. I just make each section one type of terrain and apply the effects. Combat in each section is the same as the battle board.
