Is movement affected by obstacles such as walls, ditches, hedges, barbed wire etc or is that all accounted for in the movement distances already?

Tactically when you are active you should move up to the wall then stop behind it anyway. If you cross over and finish out of cover and the enemy activates or a PEF reveals as enemy, it's not good.

That’s generally what happens, especially for things like barbed wire. Sometimes though I may want the group to cross a wall in order to get behind a different wall or a building that’s all within movement range. I tend to assess each situation and do what makes sense tactically but didn’t know if I had missed any rules regarding obstacles. I’m still learning so I’m probably just overthinking it. I appreciate your input.
