Hi! I'm back. Been a busy series of months but we made it to NC. Now I just have to pass the drivers test to get my NC licence and then I can concentrate on writing games/supps again. Unfortunately, in our rush, a lot of games, etc. got packed in random boxes. And since only a 1 bedroom apt was available, we piled most of the boxes in the closest until we can get a bigger place next year. The good news is I found most of my THW games. The bad news is I believe my minis are all the way in the back of the closest, so I can play games and write, but posting with pics might be a bit harder. But at least we made it! I just checked in. Looking forward to seeing more of your games! Glad to see you in the new forum  |

I am finally officially signed on! Only been lurking since the old forum crashed.
Anyone looking into doing superheroes with the new Battle Boards? My hundreds of HeroClix figures are clamoring to get involved.

Is there any way to get some of the old titles that were previously purchased? I lost several of my saved copies on an old laptop and when I went to download them from the old purchase links they were no longer available.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the new Two Hour Wargames forum!
First, apologies for the week or so the system has been down. As regulars would know, there's been regular periods of little errors with the old system that take it down for an hour or two every so often, typically coming in bursts.
This time was somewhat more catastrophic. Whilst I hope to recover the old one for archival purposes as there was a lot of great info there, Ed and I decided that a new system was the way to go. We've been wanting to upgrade for a while, but back end issues slowed us down. As such, we've moved to proboards for hosting. Sadly I don't get as much time to tinker with this stuff these days, as shown by the length of this outage so it takes a lot of issues off Ed and my hands to move here. As a dedicated forum provider, it should be far more stable and functional for you all as well. I haven't seen any intrusive ads, however if you do happen to have issues with any, PLEASE let Ed or myself know.
Yes, you'll need to create a new login. None of the old information has carried over. Again, if you have any issues, contact Ed or myself, even via the old yahoo mailing list if needed. It's quiet over there, but still exists and is still watched.
So please, create an account, explore the new layout and ask if you have any issues. I expect some teething troubles, mostly learning our way around a different layout, but I hope it works out best for us all in the long term.
Glad I read this, as it explains why my logins didn't work. Now I have a bit more confidence in my memory (...). |
