I've finally started a WWII project & I'm a newbie at WWII. I've decided to not only post game reports, but also write about the miniatures, vehicles, terrain & how to tie it all together. I'm excited & almost overwhelmed at what lies ahead.
This is an amazing start to a campaign and a wonderful blog! Good job connecting the personal story of gaming with the history of an overlooked part of WW2. I look forward to following Junior Lieutenant Elena Kirillovna and her platoon as they are thrown into the meat grinder. You have re-motivated me to start a new campaign myself!
The second part is up. In this part, I discover how to build my squads and platoon, which are a little different from the NUTS! Rule book - at the end of 1941 the squad composition was different from that of 1944-1945.
