A couple of questions on the vehicle rules. p64 on Tank gunnery, the example shows the attacker passed 1d6, resulting in a disabled target etc. It then says the target rolls 1d6,rolling 4, resulting in tank disabled etc. I can’t see anywhere why the target has to roll, Secondly, p64 Overkill, says if you pass the Penetration roll with 2x5s or 2x6s - how can you pass with two 6s, i thought 6s were always fails?

I always have the target roll but either will work.Secondly, p64 Overkill, says if you pass the Penetration roll with 2x5s or 2x6s - how can you pass with two 6s, i thought 6s were always fails? Not always, only on the tables that say 6 is failure. So if a APR 17 penetrates a AR 9 that's 8 for the Target Number. Hope this helps.
