If you encounter a mixed group, do they still have a Leader? For example, a PEF resolves as a Trophy Wife an Entertainer, and Lawyer, all Rep 4. Would one of them be a Leader and if so, which one?
Also, Rifles and Shotguns get confiscated in town. This makes sense for shotguns since they have 3 shots. However, rifles only have 1 compared to pistols, which have 2. Is thete something that makes rifles more powerful in the game than pistols?
Thanks!

If the leader is Rep 4 then everyone else would be 3.

Highest Rep or rolled randomly. Also, Rifles and Shotguns get confiscated in town. This makes sense for shotguns since they have 3 shots. However, rifles only have 1 compared to pistols, which have 2. Is thete something that makes rifles more powerful in the game than pistols? Nope, yes large and threatening. Thanks!

When everyone has a pistol strapped to their hip, showing up with a rifle gets people to notice.

If the leader is Rep 4 then everyone else would be 3. Page 13 says equal or lower Rep in the Band. So Rep 4 could have Rep in the group.

So rifles are all about intimidation?
And thanks for the info on Rep in groups.

Good idea. However, since I use the Battle board, I'm thinking of just granting a +1 on the damage table.

You could still use the battle board: Guys with pistols are on the board, guys with rifles are not on the board, but can shoot at guys that are. And since they are not on the board, they can't be targeted. IE. The rifle guys are shooting from "over there" and the guys with pistols know they are out of range.

I like it and that's what I do as well. +1 would work too though
