Did you know him? He was an extraordinary player of ATZ among other things. I just learnt about his terrible situation. He published on Febrary on his blog about his critical admission in an hospice and said that was his last post on his blog, and since then nothing else.
His blog is his legacy to the hobby: link

In more ways than one he was instrumental to THW. Sorely missed, rest easy sir.

He seemed like a pretty good guy and a talented figure painter. He added a lot interested to ATZ over the years.

Thanks for the info. I tried to write a comment on his blog for some days now, but Google really isn't helpful at all.
Ten years ago zombie batreps published by Vampifan and LTL Dad made me start my own blog. I still have very fond memories of the time we were visiting each other's blogs (including those of many more bloggers), following zombie campaigns, leaving comments etc. Keeping up a blog is hard work and I managed to do this for a few months before fading away. Bryan kept his blog running for many, many years; he was so dedicated to the hobby, always helpful and ready to leave some kind words for fellow gamers, that his absence will be noticed in the blogosphere.

Yes, I was always in awe of Vampifan, and his ability and drive to publish on a weekly basis. I will miss his blog and his personality that would shine through.

Whiteface / Oliver Whiteface/Oliver, I was one of your blog followers. I enjoyed your ATZ posts. I liked your easy to read batreps and your table set ups. I was also inspired by your road tiles. Hope you start your blog up again. Kurt
