I assembled the 2nd detachment of Gaea Prime Star Marines before going to bed last night, so once its superglue has finished curing, I will prime & paint the minis, probably sometime tomorrow. I will post photos of the finished minis on THE BLACKSTAR CHRONICLES, so be looking for that in the coming week -
Good news today: The primers I ordered last week for the Gaea Prime Star Army platoon I originally planned to work on this weekend, have arrived, while I started priming the 2nd detachment of Gaea Prime Star Marines -

I'll post photos of these on THE BLACKSTAR CHRONICLES when they're finished
These look cool. Any battle reports using these figures?
Unfortunately no, I am trying to build up my armies first before doing any battle reports. The closest figures ready for actual gaming are those in the Star Marine detachments and some older figures I did before my two strokes in 2018 and 2019.
The rules set I plan to do those first battle reports for will be 5150: Star Marine, primarily because I was one of the first play testers for that rule book and it is one of my favorites
I am working on Gaea Prime Star Army figures next, plus various alien figures from several different manufacturers, in order to play battles with 5150: Star Army - Citizen Soldier, but those aliens I use will not be the ubiquitous Grath, Hishen, or Zhuh-zhuh. I plan on introducing my own take on Scrunts and some other races yet to be seen in the 5150 Universe. These are unofficial until I clear it with Ed.
I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in a "homebrew" version of Warhammer 40K using 5150 rules? It'd be a "bare bones" set of rules allowing you to play with the 40K minis you might already have in your own collection. If you'd be interested, just leave a reply and which 40K armies you'd like me to adapt to 5150. If I get enough interest in this variant set, I will be posting info here and on THE BLACKSTAR CHRONICLES.
In other news, I am assembling and painting several mechs for 5150:No Quarter, and I hope to have an introductory AAR ready to post by the middle of next month.
