Hi All, Just before my gaming hiatus, I purchased Fido, intending to use him in a LTL Pulp setting as the creation of the evil Dr. Sharpenkov, or possibly as a 'Guard Dog' in the top secret warehouse of Paradigm Corp on the South side of NHC. In the former scenario I had Fido controlled remotely by the good Dr., in the latter scenario Fido was an Autonomous AI unit. But I never got around to doing either.......Now, upon my return to gaming I'm keen to use Fido but cannot decide on suitable stats/mode/ method of attack(s). So, what do you think? I don't want Fido to be invincible, but neither do I want him to be a pushover.... Any suggestions / ideas gratefully received. Cheers Steve

That's a nasty piece of work. He needs an Achilles heel, if you want to get really crunchy: If attacked by an electrical weapon (like a cattle prod, Tesla gun, or some other steam punk-ish weapon), ignore "Hard as Nails" and suffer -1 Rep during combat.

Nice twist stryderg, thanks, that fits nicely with my view that Fido is 'old tech' not the latest or greatest generation of AI/ Security Bots. He's probably been 'on duty' in the same warehouse for years, almost forgotten about.
Cheers Steve

Or, if score an OD result take a Challenge for the shooter. Pass 2d6 and it's a kill shot. Pass 1d6 re-take test. Pass 0d6 Bot is pissed and charges without you able to fire.
