Does anyone have their own house rules for the game? if so it would be interesting to know, After a few battles that I have played I am considering the following ones myself- 1 Any At gun crew reduced to half strength suffers - 1 to rep. 2 Any tank crew reduced to half strength suffers - 1 to rep. 3 Throwing a grenade in to an open topped fighting vehicle or through a window is - 2,-1 to rep due to the smaller space that the grenade has to hit as opposed to lobbing it over a wall. What do you think? - Cheers Leigh

Hey,
Certainly nothing official, but I think crews are basically penalized already when they take losses...ie..the weapon itself can’t perform efficiently without all the crew in place.
As for tossing a grenade through a tiny opening, I’ve counted it as a target in cover on the shooting table, that way it forces a high roll or you could use a challenge test as well.
Just thinking out loud...
Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian thanks for your thoughts, The reason I thought about penalising rep was that it's your rep that you use to roll against to hit the target-once the grenade is inside the vehicle/building the damage would be more effective due to the grenade exploding in a confined space. Cheers Leigh

Now that I think about it, you could treat it as throwing to a spot you can’t see which would require you to pass 2d6 on the throwing grenade table on pg28.
The beauty of the rules is that you can easily experiment with this stuff to see what suits best for your game!

I finally upgrade my 2nd edition of Nuts! and bought the 4th. I haven't played a game with them yet, but reading at the new In Sight, which I like a lot, I'm considering to add -1D6 to troops fast moving. Fast moving is taken into account in the firing table, but I think it could also be included in the In Sight Test as I think troops dashing can't pay much attention to their surroundings. BTW, I'm so glad that I moved to last editiion. I'm really liking it so far and I can't wait to try them.
