Month 4 - Involuntary Encounter
On Duty - Called for backup
Judge Kyle (Rep 4, basic cop) is in the financial district and asking for backup. He is at a storefront dealing with an escalating argument between the store owner and a second party. When the second party is removed for questioning the Scrunt storeowner is in no way calmed. His anger spills over and he attacks the law! Enter Judge Saul who answers the call. Saul arrives as Judge Kyle is scuffling with 2 scrunts. Judge Saul enters the fray just as one the scrunts sucker punches Kyle. This seems to sober them immediately and they scarper from the scene! (Kyle recovers quickly).
Month 4 - Involuntary Encounter Part 2
Pursuit!
Kyle and Saul jump on their bikes and pursue the scrunt perps! (6 rounds starting at range 3. Caught by round 4!). The scrunts are arrested (and read the riot act for +2 street cred!).
Month 4 - Voluntary Encounter
Confrontation
Judge Saul has been following up on the info he received about The Scars gang. The time is right to deal out justice before they attack their next victim! Saul confronts them outside of Otis’ warehouse just in time! For this assignment Saul is given a partner- Judge Arcitt (Rep 4, Drantakh). The gang is a bunch of spugs and our heroes are facing off against two of them. In the ensuing fire fight Judge Arcitt is fatally wounded. Saul holds out but cant seem to hit either of the Spugs. He’s out numbered but he has nerves of steel. Eventually the spugs crack (or run out of ammo?) and run away. Otis is saved but at a dreadful cost...

Month 5 Involuntary Encounter
On Duty - Called for backup
A big shot business man and his trophy wife recently saw their lives take a turn for the worse. That’s the thing about investments, sometimes they go up, but sometimes they go down. Way down! They are convinced of insider trading. Accompanied by their bounty hunter associate they storm into a financial services office. Therein an altercation breaks out and someone gets shot. It’s not long before Judge Kade is on the scene. He has intercepted them just outside of Ben Affleck block and has called for assistance!
Saul arrives just in time. Kade can’t convince the bounty hunter to drop his weapon and give himself up. Judge Saul has no time for perps with guns in public areas. He stays cool and takes aim (thankfully I win the initiative as bounty hunter has quick reflexes and a big a$$ pistol). One bounty drops like a sack of potatoes to the floor. Judge Kade puts his lawgiver on stun and aims at the business man. He misses. Before they can act any further the two perps have fled the scene (they failed horribly on the Will to Fight roll). Saul calls in to HQ and lets others hunt the two fugitives...
Month 5 Voluntary Encounter
Chillin
Judge Saul is a dedicated lawman. He rarely relaxes, but rarely Isn’t never...
He notices 3 interesting ladies having a lively chat. He tries to join in but they just ignore him. Somewhat deflated he opts for a ‘quiet drink’ alone instead. (-1 street cred). Saul is starting to feel a bit depressed. Aw heck, another drink bartender (all good +1 street cred) thats better! Feeling a little happier Saul tries to strike up a conversation with a Zhu Zhu labourer. Unfortunately he’s grumpy and verbally insulting! Saul gives up and goes home (-1 dec. rep d6 total but thankfully no loss to rep!)

Month 6 - Involuntary Encounter
On Duty - Protection - corporate executive
Francis of Mithra Industries has had his personal effects stolen at a day spa. Confidential documentation that was on his person has given rise to concerns for his safety from extreme environmental activists! Judge Saul has been tasked with escorting him around the city for a day (4 PEFs)
1. A sales clerk (Is this and activist? Yes). Saul “Move on citizen or you will be spending time in an Iso cube!” (Intimidation - success) she moves away.
2. Two punks come around the corner and they look mean. Looks like our enviro extremists have taken out a contract! One punk goes to draw his weapon, the judge takes him out before he gets to act. The other scarpers.
3. A couple of hours later and the action continues. Two roguish characters advance towards our hero and one is brandishing a pistol. Judge Saul think to himself “This man I’m responsible for might be responsible for some pollution crime. This needs investigating”. (The two thieves have the initiative and act first.) The thief fires but misses, Saul returns fire. Saul isn’t in the habit of missing and the thief drops dead. (At this point I made the decision that the other thief would hold back because he didn’t have a weapon, tho this is not in the rules. I then rolled the will to fight table). The final thief flees the scene, unfortunately Francis is so scared he runs for it too! Saul reports Francis M.I.A.
Month 6 - Voluntary Encounter
Confrontation
(Was Francis captured by the environmental lobby? Yes and.) Not only has Francis been captured, he was executed too and a video of demands has been sent to a news vid-channel! Tho’ Francis ran away whilst Judge Saul had control of the situation he feels responsible for his death. Using intel from HQ he tracks the lobbyists/terrorists to their lair at an old run down warehouse (of course!)... On arrival at the warehouse most of the group notice Judge Saul and retreat into a back room but one mean looking punk with a mean looking gun (Rep 4, hard as nails, A3) stays back to deal with the Judge...
“Drop the piece punk! This over!”
“Screw you Judge, you aint the boss of me!”
(Saul has the advantage) Judge Saul crouches behind a crate, takes aim and fires. He rarely misses. (Roll double 6’s for damage) The punks head is shot clean of his body! Yuck! The remaining perps give themselves up and spend many years in their own cosy Iso cubes.
THE END
I’ve had some thoughts about tailoring ‘Working Grave’ to make it more Judge Dredd. I’ll post them later...
