Minis and vehicles are Battlefront plastic, the ones in hard plastic, in 15mm and I think the nicest in their league ! A few are from Peter Pig (the surrendering ones for instance).
For playing Nuts ! I have put a lot of emphasis on scenery, as I think it will make all the difference since usually games don't involve much more than 50 minis on each side. If they play on a nice terrain, what a pleasure !
Makers of the scenery are JR Miniatures (the bombed station for instance), but also Tiger Terrain in the UK, and mostly Loïc Neveu in France who has a very impressive choice on his website. Some accessories are from model railways manufacturers.

Nice pictures, definitely agree if you don't need masses of figures then good terrain helps.
