Hu. Another stupid question, I'm afraid. Are there any rules for the effects of diseases like malaria on units in a campaign, or are they factored in to the general privation rules? Thanks.

Nah, no stupid questions. You could add something for disease if you wanted to do more bookkeeping. Maybe a 3d6 versus Rep monthly. Pass 3d6 all good. Pass 2d6 If have disease stay at -1 to Rep. If not have disease have symptoms count a -1 to Rep next time take the test.. Pass 1d6 - Have the disease -1 to Rep Pass 0d6 - Can no longer function and removed from play.

Or, if you are campaigning, take the following test as often as you see fit (once a month in jungles, once every three months in sub-tropical areas, once a year in temperate areas)
2d6 vs Rep Pass 2 = healthy Pass 1 = healthy if no one else is sick, infected if others are sick Pass 0 = infected, may not participate in the next 1/2d6 encounters
Lots of ways you can play it. FYI: 1/2d6 = 1, 2 or 3

Wonderful. Thank you guys Another reason I think that this is one of the best forums around. I'm actually developing a campaign set in German East Africa in 1915 and diseases like malaria were important and had a direct impact on the fighting. I know that this means additional paperwork but I can't ignore it.
